Between a Hollywood superstar and a voice actor, the latter actually works harder. It’s real tough for him to convey feelings and emotions while reading, fully knowing that he will not be seen on the screen. He must get into the skin of the character and pump life into the dialogues. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over training aids voice actors learn the craft and find gainful employment in a growing area. There are 1000s of cartoon and animated TV shows, web shows, TV/radio advertisements, web videos, and movies being made regularly. Moreover, each movie/TV show has a cast of more than 20-30 characters. The prospects for a voice talent actually abound internationally.

Voice over training course – the fundamental skills that you ought to have

One of the most important tools of the trade is diction. Perfect enunciation is demanded from the student, hence, it is necessary for him to go to speech classes to perfect his diction. A voice talent would always have two roles to perform – the “acting,” and the “lending voice.” So, perfect diction is not enough to start voice over training – the student must also enroll in an acting course before joining the voice over course.

What does a voiceover training program teach?

Analyzing and interpreting commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles are learned by the student. He also learns how to interpret narrative copy and gets the hang of technical copy as well. The course teaches the student how to proficiently coordinate mind, mouth and voice so that he can sound true to his character. The student also learns how to take direction.

Reading, recording, play back, and listening are done continuously in an excellent voice talent training course. This is done in order for students to get it right. Students warm-up and perform vocal exercises and learn techniques like timing, inflection, and articulation. They understand how to preserve their vocal fitness. When students are already half-way into the voice over training course, they become competent at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to cater to various types of jobs.

Once a student completes the training, he learns how to market his skills, tap proper contacts, and land voice over work. The course instructors also help them produce a voice over demo for their portfolio. An opportunity to experience working in a real studio is offered in a solid voice over training course for students. They also learn what the do’s and don’ts are whenever they are behind the microphone or in a sound booth.

Selecting a voice over training program

There are two aspects to voice training. A commercial voice over course must be opted for by students who are interested in selling. Commercial voice overs are employed for selling. Several of the areas that call for this type of voice overs are radio ads, TV advertisements, phone and other media features. The voice over course also addresses selling skills because all commercial voice overs sell a product or a service. This program does not cover acting skills. If a student is interested in showbiz, then he should opt for dubbing and a movie or TV voice over course. Lip-synching is required by such courses, hence, the voice over talent also needs to master acting skills.

To conclude, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So, if you want to play your part as a voice actor, enroll for a reputed voice actor training course and learn how to raise your voice.

BOISE, IDAHO (PRWEB) February 14, 2012

When DotComSecrets Local founder Russell Brunson saw how local businesses were spending their advertising dollars, he was alarmed.

Too many small business owners were wasting money on newspaper and local television ads instead of targeting white hot internet based marketing frameworks such as those for smart phones and portable electronic tablets, which are less expensive and reach more people.

Brunson said he started his company because even small, local businesses deserve to have the same internet opportunities that proved so successful for multi-billion dollar companies such as Google, Groupon, Yahoo and Amazon, according to Brunson.

The success of DCS Local was recently recognized by internationally renowned motivational speaker and author Tony Robbins, who called Brunson a leader in the internet community. And international businessman Richard Branson was so impressed with Brunson?s internet expertise that he christened one of his famous jets after his company.

Brunson ? a self-made internet success story — said his new mission is to create local jobs so that he can help put people back to work nationwide. These marketing jobs will connect small businesses in every community in the US with DCS Local so that together they can start reinventing the way internet can help businesses.

Those seeking local marketing jobs can look no further than this week?s three scheduled free webinars, in which jobseekers will be presented with the skills they need and the tools they require to become DCS Local representatives in their very own communities.

The company?s expansion is coming not a moment too soon for local businesses, according to Brunson.

?We want to help these small businesses and we have the resources to do it,? Brunson said. ?We?re just missing one thing that we need to reach them: A local presence. We need somebody on the ground.?

DCS Local consultants work part time from their own home. Some DCS Local consultants earn more than $ 8,000 per month simply by connecting local businesses with internet marketing experts. Others began earning paychecks starting on their very first day on the job.

Plus DCS Local consultants provide no actual product or services, and they do no real work other than linking businesses in their community with DCS Local.

Brunson said jobseekers need not be concerned if they have no prior marketing or sales experience because DCS Local will given them everything they need to approach local business owners and convince them to sign up for the service. Once the connection is made, consultants keep making money without having to do anything further.

The three DCS Local webinars scheduled this week will be open to only 300 people each, and will be filled on a first-come first-served basis. Once all the positions are taken, no more will be opened up. Previous DCS Local webinars filled up with hours, and thousands of people were turned away. To ensure their spot in one of these three webinars, jobseekers are encouraged to sign up right away.

During the webinars, participants will learn how they can earn thousands per week simply by connecting local businesses with DCS Local. The company will then work with the businesses to build effective marketing campaigns that will grow their businesses exponentially.

Webinar participants also will learn how DCS Local chapters in their home towns can help them become highly paid consultants while working part time from their own homes. DCS Local provides its consultants with everything they need to be internet marketing experts, so that when they approach local businesses they have the tools they need to close the deal.

Brunson warned those people who want to learn how they can start making thousands of dollars per week while working part time from their own homes should not risk being left out in the cold. Interested participants need to sign up fast before all the positions are filled.

Participants can sign up for one of this week?s three webinars by visiting:

Omaha, Nebraska (PRWEB) January 24, 2012

Nabin Sapkota, MD first stated his claims through his regular medical column in The Columbus Telegram in his article dated January 17, 2012. He has been writing medical articles in the newspaper since November of 2010. His claims did not get wide spread attention until he set up a brand new website based on that idea and updated his claims with anecdotal evidence and explanations. The Nebraska doctor seems so passionate to spread this idea that he has turned it into a book project and has named it symptoms and diagnosis.

“Most people ask the wrong question about symptoms and diagnosis”, says the Nebraska doctor. He says the most common question people ask him is: “What are the symptoms of this particular disease?” He believes that it is the wrong question to ask. He warns that people may get into serious trouble by asking that question. He cites the case of a patient who died from a heart attack to prove this point.

He completely rejects the idea that a disease can be defined by a list of symptoms. He says that the traditional teaching of trying to match the symptoms of the patient with known symptoms of a disease does not work. He believes this approach is responsible for the high numbers of wrongly diagnosed cases that we see today. He adds,”That approach would have been great if symptoms were objective data. But symptoms are as subjective as the individual describing them. Symptoms are felt by patients and as you know feeling is very subjective as personal.”

In the website, the Nebraska doctor further claims that the ideas of ?typical patient? and ?common symptoms? only exist in textbooks. In practice, every patient is different and can have different symptoms of the same disease. He further clarifies, “If you really want to make sense of the symptoms, you need to know the patient very well. You need to look at the symptoms of the individual patient in the unique situation and try to think what changes in the body of that patient could produce those symptoms. When you do that, you will get one step closer to getting the right medical diagnosis.”

Dr. Sapkota is board certified in Internal Medicine and has been practicing in the Midwest for more than eight years. He did his Internal Medicine residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, IL. He received board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine(ABIM) in 2007. He moved to Nebraska after his training and has been here since then.

With the latest update on Jan 21st, his website http://www.symptomsdiagnosisbook.com has been able to create quite a buzz and seems to have received more than three thousand hits in just three days. In the medical community, many doctors seem to agree with his idea but some are opposed to it. Dr. Sapkota seems to be glad to have started the conversation. He intends to put all his argument for his ideas in the book project. He states his goal is to emphasize the patient centered approach to diagnosis by describing symptoms in the context of a real human patient instead of the virtual textbook patient that does not exist. He intends to use plain English without any medical jargon to make the book readable to the general readers. His message seems to be primarily targeted to the patients rather than to the doctors.

Mustard Powder (Hot Sharp)
Wasabi Powder (Hot Sharp)
Sea Salt Powder (Salty)
Black Pepper Powder (Pungent)

“ Please do not worry I am not going to force you to use all of the above powders at one time!”

On stand by have the following Liquid Options at the ready!

Lemon or Lime Juice (Sour)
Sole ( Pink Himalayan Sea Salt Crystal that is dissolved in pure water) (Salty)

Cleansing Salad Method :

On your cutting board chop your selected leafy greens into small pieces and place in a large mixing bowl for tossing.
Add your diced Beats and Carrots with Cherrie tomato and put bowl aside.

Cleansing Vinaigrette Method:

In a separate mixing bowl add the following ingredients:

1 table spoon Cold Pressed Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 table spoon Cold Pressed Virgin Coconut Oil
1 tea spoon Cold Pressed Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tea spoon unfiltered Raw Honey
1 tea spoon Lemon or Lime Juice
1 tea spoon Bee Pollen
1 level tea spoon of your favorite Green Super Food?

Stir together and taste….. What do you think? Savory ? Brings a Smile to your Face? It did for me and since all people have different taste buds you are allowed to make adjustments to your liking . You are the Gourmet of Your Kitchen.

Cleansing Pepper Cups Method:

On your cutting board split the Sweet Red Bell Pepper in 2 parts down the middle.
Scrape out the seeds and flesh .( Discard or do what I do Compost and save seeds for planting)
With a pairing knife cut V shapes around the edges of the 2 Bell Pepper Cups.
Do not discard the V shaped little pepper shapes , you can toss them in your Salad Bowl with Greens. ( Nothing should go to waste in your Earth Kitchen)
Put your newly decorated Pepper Cups aside to make the chutney style filling.

Chutney style Filling:

Cut ,peal and spoon the flesh of your Avocado into a medium size mixing bowl and squash the fruit down with a fork. ( Discard the Pit)

On your cutting board , with a knife slice down ward ,turning the cob as you cut the raw kernels downward and across the board. Split the pile of kernels in half and add that half to your salad bowl greens to join the previously V shaped pieces of Peppers.

Divide again the pile of corn kernels into 2 parts , then add that part to the mixing bowl of your mashed Avocado.

Then on on your cutting board chop very finely the fresh Mint Herb and divide into 2 parts.

Mix in the one part Mint with your Corn kernels and mashed Avocado.
Add your selected whole nuts or you can elect to chop them smaller for that nutty flavor.
Less will give you a more creamy paste and more will give you that crunchy nutty flavor , its your call? “I like the nutty option myself “!

Add in your finely chopped half medium onion and 2 garlic cloves.

If you wish to thin down your Chutney paste ,then just add a little Olive Oil for this and keep mixing. Now taste it …… What do you think ? How do you Feel ?

Believe it or not the whole Avocado used seemed to have neutralized the pungency of even the 2 garlic gloves and half onion, but the added fresh Mint Herb added some savory taste with the sweet corn kernels. The texture and nutty flavor is there of course , but other wise the Chutney
filling is rather bland to my taste , but could be fine for you ?

This is where it gets interesting. For me I like that Hot Spicy taste , so with my arsenal of powdered cleansing herbs I add a dash of Red Chile Powder and Garlic & a small pinch of Mustered and stir it in until I got it just right.

I enjoy a sour sweetness to my foods so I added raw unfiltered Honey and Lime Juice to taste.

After you have achieved your combination taste , then spoon the filling into your decorated Sweet Red Bell Pepper Cups on a serving plate.
On the surface filling of each Pepper Cup add an island of corn kernels surrounded by a sea of your finely chopped fresh Mint herb.

Pour your vinaigrette dressing into your salad and toss then spoon into your serving salad bowl.

Complement your Cleansing Salad with Pepper Cups with your favorite Lemon or Lime drink or do what I do if you live like I do in the tropics for convenience.

I pour fresh Coconut Water into my Cup with a squeeze of Lime,Orange and Raw Honey.
“Very refreshing and Alkaline for your body enjoy”

Barry Gourmet & Raw

Nutritional Information:

This RAW Cleansing meal is very easily digested and nutrition is assimilated effectively into your body with all the Enzymes , Good Fats, and Proteins intact from these Living Foods. It is scientifically proven that a Vegetarian Based diet that is rich in raw foods will assist you for effective weight loss, I know because I did it for one year to cut my body weight all most in half.

It is very important to eat this hydrating , high fiber meal (Fiber Supports the Liver) slowly and thoroughly as digestion starts in the mouth to break down the complex carbohydrates . We don’t want to be rushed at the table ,even though it takes only about 10 minutes to make this wonderful Cleansing Meal, which is a good thing.
I must add that this Cleansing meal is also anti -inflammatory with out the meat Purines to help you with any Gout or Arthritis condition. I was once afflicted with gout and arthritis myself many years ago and when I slowly changed to a plant based diet , these symptoms are no longer in my life.

About the unrefined Oils ,Nuts and Avocado ,the Good Fats:

We need certain FATS like the ones in this Cleansing Salad to help the Fat Soluble Vitamins A,D,E,and K to be absorbed by our bodies fat reserves. The Fats in this Cleansing Salad are Essential ( Meaning we cannot make it our selves and we must get it from out side foods)consisting primarily of Omega 3 fatty acids found mostly in whole unrefined oils, nuts, seeds,Sprouts, Avocado and in some of my other recipes as well ,with oily cold water fish such as wild Salmon, Sardines,Mackerel ,Tuna and other seafoods of non predatory nature, that are placed lower on the marine food chain. It is important to note that Sea vegetables such as the Super Green Food Spirulina is providing a massive amount of mineral nutrition including Iodine that is less available on land with our unsustainable agricultural practices of mono cropping.( This is why the refined Salt industry is putting iodine into their salt product, because it is missing a lot or deficient on our land based produce. )It is common practice with Organic farmers in America to amend their soils with sea vegetables to put back needed Calcium, Magnesium ,Iodine, and other trace minerals to help replenish our top soils that in return feed the plants that we in return consume. Iodine is a nonmetallic black crystal element that in trace amounts is essential for the health of our brain functions.

All Ocean sea weeds are a great source of essential iodine for your body and that is why I included this ingredient into the Cleansing Salad from sources of Super Green Foods from the sea.

One other Super Food from Nature that I would include in your life for supreme nutrition would be Bee Pollen.

The pollen is a fine spore grain that flowers produce to in huge quantity to entice honey bees , butterflies , and other insects to feed on ,and to transport to other flowers for cross reproduction. This food from Nature has been used by man for centuries and contains a broad spectrum of trace minerals and vitamins that I use personally for additional support for my immunity and good health.

About the Water Soluble Vitamins in this Cleansing Salad is many. This Salad is very high in Vitamin C from the Greens and Red Peppers. The color Red is normally very high in C but destroyed by cooking. This salad provides a lot of the B vitamins as well. The Super Green foods, plus the Bee Pollen provided from NATURE will help provide additional nutritional Vitamin and Mineral support for the cells in your body.

“Experience the Gourmet in YOU “

Why do I go out of my way to list certain Foods to be Organic on my Recipes?

You probably noticed that for some of the ingredients I list in (brackets ) the word Organic is listed. Why would I do this you may think? Well I have done a lot of research on the subject and later discovered after many years of study that the intensive , and unsustainable farming practices today has effectively stripped a lot of our foods vitamin and mineral base , and further depleted our top soils with chemical fertilizers and pesticides to combat disease and insect infestations of our food crops.

There is a very important point behind all this .
I know that most people do not want to hear this , but the TRUTH needs to be spelled out and addressed so that consumers can take necessary precautions to limit their exposure to certain foods that are treated with chemical pesticides.

The Truth is that all living things including our selves , and the Vegetable Kingdom of Fruits ,Vegetables ,and Grains are all SYSTEMIC.

Systemic meaning that the roots of any plant will absorb the good and the bad such as pesticide Chemical residue into the internal cells of the plant through the plants root systems. So this means that all the washing , scrubbing , and cleaning will not help us at all to get rid of of the plants toxin. If I can use this analogy, Its like how our own skin functions , such as letting the hormone Vitamin D absorb into our body from the sun. But the D will be blocked by Sun screen lotion applied to our skin and like Vitamin D will be absorbed into our body. But again our skin will release fluid salts and waste materials through our skins pores when we sweat ,and perspire toxins out to dissipate, so plants are the same way we are, with incoming and out going exchange of materials good and bad.

The BioTech industry knows very well that the root systems of all plants absorb everything attainable from the soils, so the agribusiness scientists over the years have developed many delivery systems to help the host plant take up the pesticide through its root systems to make the edible plant more pest resistant. But the problem with this playing with Nature Protocol is now backfiring on us , as the target insect , or pest develops immunity over time and new ,and much more stronger toxic chemicals are being developed, over time to try and stay ahead of the
problem. When will this dangerous but short term profitable Mono Factory Farm practice ever end?

As we know today , it is all most impossible to find a grocery store that stores and sells everything 100% Organic. Most stores will have some items , but in most cases most of the fruits and vegetables are conventionally treated with chemicals, so what can one do?

First I need to point out that , and not a whole lot of people that I talked to know about this. And that is most of the agricultural fat soluble pesticide residues are found in the fatty flesh of animal and less in the fruits and vegetables. Simply put , our crops are less exposed to the treatment with shorter growing seasons compared to a cow that lives 30 years longer than a plant. Alot of the feed that is growing for livestock consumption is GMO ( Genetically Modified Organisms. ) These crops are Soy, Corn, Rapeseed/Canola,Sugar Beets,Rice,Cotton,Dairy,Aspartame/Artificial Sweetener,Papayas,Farm raised Salmon and many processed packaged food items, from the giant food manufacturers with confusing labels that take all day to read.Yes people will say that going Organic is more expensive , but is it really?
Organic farming is more labour intensive to amend the soils , and to harvest the bounty ,and today every farm that wants to make the change over to Organic is required by Law to let the land heal and settle into a more natural state then 3rd party inspections are enforced to Certify the produce. So it is understandable why Organic Fruits, Vegetables, Seeds , and Nuts will cost more. But the trade off in my mind is worth it as ,after all its something we put into our body, and I love to eat the edible skins where most of the nutrition is held anyway.
Farmers markets and buying locally is also a good idea as well.

So this fact compels me to post a list of what foods are contaminated and what foods are more safe to eat if its conventional. I cannot think of a more authoritative source than Environmental Working Group EWG.

Comment from Barry Gourmet & Raw:

This list provide by the Environmental Working Group is more comprehensive if you visit their website at www.foodnews.org
This list is valuable information to inform you about the pesticide load on certain foods to help you to make informed decisions and to reduce your exposure. But over all it is still wise to eat a wide variety of fresh Fruits and Vegetables more and to limit or reduce your intake of packaged processed goods.

you came over after i went to work today and we talked about books and drank various beverages and watched pointless distracting television
after i went to work i painted in the woods for three hours
i saw a rabbit and a raccoon and a little boy on a bike
i saw a doctor pepper bottle and a few wadded up plastic bags caught on twigs
i saw a piece of a plastic purple toy in the mud
i also saw the mail man in the mail truck late this afternoon
i was watering the plants in my work uniform
i called out "thank you" when he put mail into my family’s box
he did not hear me i think
so it goes
i am sad that i am america
i am sad that i am america
i am sad that i am america

the bookstore threw away over two hundred fifty magazines today
i saved a copy of adbusters
why the fuck does a corporate bookstore sell an anti-capitalist magazine
that is so ridiculous that it shouldn’t even be classified as irony
the cover story was about hipsters
in which the writer stated that the current generation is pointlessly obsessing over fashion and this is what is causing them to lose their individuality
and i thought maybe people are losing individuality
because there are a billion fucking people on the planet
and some are bound to be like others
and then i thought, are you defending a faceless subculture that has made you feel alienated and stupid in the past, maureen sill?
why yes, yes i am, i thought
the writer went to a part in a place he said was in the "heroin district of a hipster neighborhood" in a large international city
he got drunk at a bar and did some drugs
research, he said
he said he woke up leaning against a fence and a girl was sitting next to him
he said she got up and started to walk away, carrying a heavy camera
and he wrote, "if this generation carried rocks instead of cameras, they’d look like revolutionaries"

and then i laughed cause that would look so funny on a tshirt
that would sell a lot of copies
at a store which would sell tshirts for upwards of thirty dollars
that would also be a chain store, and only hire conventionally attractive people
etcetera

and then i wrote this poem which is titled:
rosie o’donnell has a generally terrible attitude which she documents in her blog which i sometimes read out of the desire to feel less bad about myself as a human being

my mom made my dad a baked potato and a fish for dinner
a girl at work cried today
she was sad that she was america
i had a fistfull of quarters
i paid the meter
i paid the person at the grocery store
for a salad
that was sad that it was america
i paid the post office woman
i mailed my grandmother a thank you card
that i made out of a picture of oprah
because she likes oprah
and i like my grandma
so i wanted to say thank you in her language
i did not call anyone
and it was humid outside.

(PRWEB) January 25, 2012

Source: Kia

?After a rigorous selection, testing and deliberation process, I?m pleased to announce Kia Rio Si Hatch a worthy winner,? said Carsguide Managing Editor, Ged Bulmer. ?Car of the Year is a natural extension of our efforts to educate, inform and entertain our readers.?

Paul Gover, Carsguide Senior Motoring Reporter and one of Australia?s most experienced automotive journalists, added: ?The Kia Rio Si Hatch is only the second Korean brand to win the award since its inception in 2007. Delivering an impressive blend of performance, safety and technology at a fair price we are certain it won?t be the last.?

After two days of intensive testing on a purpose-built proving ground and the open road the all-new Rio finished on the winner?s dais ahead of a stellar field of premium cars, in some cases costing up to five times as much as the punchy little Rio.

?This just a wonderful result for Kia, not only in Australia but as a global company,? Kia Motors Australia President and Chief Executive Officer Mr Chongwoo (Charlie) Kim said. ?Kia is committed to delivering our customers the best _ and best value _ cars in the market. This prestigious award is confirmation that our goals are worthy and achievable.?

Kia Motors Australia Chief Operating Officer, Mr Tony Barlow, described the win as an outstanding recognition of the journey Kia is on, both with its brand and its models.

?With this recognition _ and other awards gathered over the past 18 months _ Kia need no longer stand in anyone?s shadow,? Mr Barlow said. ?We have been planning and working to provide Australian buyers with great looking, great value cars that recognize and address the particular driving tastes of the local market.

That work has borne fruit in the recognition of the motoring experts, like those at Carsguide. However, it is also providing a boon for Australian drivers in general with more manufacturers now realising the value of going the extra mile and offering drivers dynamics they really value.?

Since its Australian launch in September the Rio has won the Australia?s Best Cars Award for Small Car Under $ 20,000 and has now backed that up with an outright win in Carsguide COTY. Only days ago the Rio?s 1.6-litre GDI Gamma engine was named as one of Ward?s Top Ten engines.

?Since the launch our dealer network has been delighted with the performance of the Rio 5-door hatch and are already looking forward to the arrival of the 3-door hatch and 4-door sedan early next year,? Mr Barlow said.

Carsguide and Carsguide.com.au are Australia?s largest automotive media brand by revenue with a presence in 128 News Limited metropolitan, suburban and regional newspapers as well as online at http://www.carsguide.com.au.

This is where Cook County’s indigent are buried. There are around 300 buried here annually. It’s hard to figure where all those bodies go because the space is quite small. Sometimes they don’t stay buried.

The Occupy movement has successfully put the economic injustice plaguing the United States on televisions across America, says Tina Dupuy, a nationally syndicated op-ed columnist and managing editor of Crooks and Liars. The reason that most Americans were unaware of these issues before the Occupy movement caught fire this fall is that 60 percent of us get our news exclusively from local news sources. Those 30-minute local news segments devote a full 10 minutes to commercials and two minutes to “teasers” of stories to come. That leaves very little time for real news about real issues. Dupuy says that newscasters too often fill the gap with trivial stories such as reports about “Dancing with the Stars” or news of a cat stuck in a tree in Germany. “We don’t have a real broad knowledge of issues that affect us, like the housing bubble or about what our local and national government is doing,” says Dupuy. “But at least now the local news is showing protest signs of what economic injustice is. They’re being forced to cover these issues and cover the raids, arrests and encampments and have the protestors on television talking about these issues.” “Now we’ve seen our local news talk about the homeless population, talk about people who aren’t able to find jobs, talk about students who are now sharecroppers to banks because they have 0000 in student loan debt ? debt they can’t renegotiate.”
